BRAINBOX® SYSTEM

The BRAINBOX® system is a very flexible instrumentation setup for Neurophysiology. It will continuously be expanded with new developments. With currently available amplifiers it can be configured from 32 up to 256 EEG channels, DC channels, SpO2 and Event. There are small amplifiers for ambulatory monitoring and a stationary amplifier for routine EEG.

The data communication between the amplifiers and a computer runs via the computer network and is handled by the ETHERNET-102 (V2) Interface box. This universal Interface additionally has 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs for all sorts of control, trigger and sync functions. It accepts two BrainNet cables from Amplifiers and Stimulators in several configurations. A photic stimulator is controlled from within the EEG application software. Interfacing is very similar for all BRAINBOX® Devices so software engineers easily adapt to new members of the family.

The BRAINBOX® system even has the flexibility to record several patients over one Interface on a single PC.
